Actually, I'm not sure that's true.

Because if we still display them in the same treeview as today (and that
certainly was my plan), we still have that same issue that we need to
hide the trips when sorting by another column and therefore we will
still argue when a trip summary entry should be selected or not. Is it
"with the first dive" or "when all dives in the trip are selected"...

The fundamental semantic disagreement doesn't go away, I think.
