What about some kind of bookmarks which saves vendor, model and (!)
device to be used!? Would like to have some easy access to predefined
setting when handling a bunch of different dive computers communicating
by different standards (USB, Bluetooth, some may have Infrared, maybe
we'll see NFC or whatever in the future)...
