"Select Events..." versus "Heading: X°"

Hi,
I just noticed a minor issue, not really a bug, just something annoying:
The "Select Events..." function draws one toggle box for each kind
of event that found among the dives. Alas, the Suunto dive computers
report "Heading: X°" events whenever the respective knob is pressed
while in compass mode. The "X" is the actual direction (0° to 359°,
strangely I also recorded one "-1°" event), so the string associated
with the event is different for every direction.
This means: There are lots and lots of toggle boxes for the "Select
Events..." function - one named "Heading: 1°", one named "Heading: 2°"
and so on... not really something anyone would like to toggle manually.
Is there there a way how libdivecomputer could seperate the type of
event ("Heading") from the value associated with it? Or would it be
better to have remember_event() strip off the number from the string?
Regards,
