I seriously disagree.  "Open" should open a new set of dives 
(closing/discarding the current ones), while "Import" should add dives 
to the current open set.   This way we both support switching between 
sets of wife/tec/rec dives, and importing dives from external sources 
(computer, xml file, another dive program) into our current list of dives.
