Qt branch

Hi,

I'm happy to work on a mainwindow with the relevant menu structure.
I can hopefully knock out an outline this evening.

How do you see the content of the 3 main panes being integrated? I've done
MDIs before on Qt so can see the window switching bit no problem.  But will
we need to replace the main GtkWidgets with Qt equivalents (my assumption)
or is there a way of re-using the current C implementations in large part?

I have posted a very crude first stab of a dive profile on GitHub and have
a TreeView staged to go up there (or into the Qt branch).

Tamaz, if you are working on KDE I'm guessing you'll be ahead of me on Qt
skills.  I don't mind if you want to take on this element or if you want to
select different parts etc.  Same for anyone else - I'm sure there's plenty
to do.
