[PATCH] Check if DLD contains non-ascii characters

OK, now it seems that new dives work well with UTF-8 encoding. I just sent
a patch for the upload from Subsurface to also use UTF-8.

The old dives before the UTF-8 update in divelogs.de are still messed up.
At least my first dive with combination of latin1 and UTF-8 shows this
anomaly. (I deleted and re-uploaded my middle dive to test the UTF-8 upload
from Subsurface works.)
