Patch: Cosmetic changes - include and brackets

While importing the project into an Eclipse project, I came across
some constants which GCC seems to include without having the header
file specified. Also, there is a compound IF in gps.c which tests a
few conditions and uses a bitwise AND in the same line which looks
strange until you see that the bitwise AND is part of a test. Should
the rest of the tests in that IF also perhaps have brackets added, or
is the bracketless version the preferred style?
