Problem when downloading logs (Solved)

Hi,
I'm a Ubuntu user with not much tech background.
I installed Subsurface without major problems, and I think the Subsurface User Manual covers most of the things I need.
Even though, I had a major problem (solved) that might happen to other not advanced Ubuntu users: when I wanted to download the logs from my computer (a Suunto Gekko) I had an error message I cannot reproduce (now it's solved :)).
I could see the device at ttyUSB0 so I didn't understand what was wrong. Finally I found out it was a problem with permissions. I had no permission to write on the FTDI device.
I solved it as easily as opening the terminal and typing:
sudo chmod 666 /dev/ttyUSB0
Just thought might be good to share, in case you want to add it to the Linux documentation.
Otherwise, thanks for a wonderful program!
