I think you should wait for Lubomir to actually test it, since I
didn't try the affected case.

There may be other things like this lurking. Doing a quick grep for
'\.data(' makes me a big nervous. But the ones I looked at (like the
taglist_add_tag() etc) did seem to generally do the strdup()
eventually. And some of them just didn't hold on to it (eg
call_for_each_dc()).
