And just to make this issue super-fun: I just discovered that the stable
pango was updated to 1.32.5 less than 24 hours ago:
http://trac.macports.org/changeset/102562. So, we could have just waited
for this to solve itself :P
No update of README necessary, just a "port selfupdate" + "port install
pango +quartz -x11"
