no, the patch still arrived as iso8859-1. It seems to me that a number
of email clients are very hard to convince that they should send things
in utf-8. I don't have a good answer as for why that is. But I'll admit
that this is not really a hard problem for me to work around.

iconv is your friend :-)

But oddly this patch did have all unchanged lines with TWO spaces in
front of them - which made every single hunk fail. Equally easy to fix,
but very strange and not something that I ahve seen before...

Anyway. Thanks for the update and this has been applied and pushed out.

As mentioned in another thread... there is likely one additional new
string being added at some point this weekend. I'm just waiting to see
if people like what I proposed (to avoid even more duplicate work)...
