Rather, run it under gdb, and do "up" a few times when you hit the SIGSEGV.

I just verified the "subsurface dives/*.xml" case in valgrind, and
that triggers no warnings.

Jef, in the dives/*.xml case, did you also do a libdivecomputer
download? From your description it *sounded* like only your first
test-case did, but maybe I misunderstood.
