Just installed it on the Mac Mini that we use to watch tv. That has OSX 10.7, so I cannot comment on the code signing. I haven't tried to download dives from my dive computer either, yet. But it starts and the planner works (had not installed anything of Macports or libdivecomputer previously). But as you say, the map stays white (but zooming in and out seems to work according to the scale indicator). Maybe that's a special real time map showing that it has been snowing here in Munich for several days...
