[PATCH] Work on a dive localisation tool using GPS coordinates

that did the trick - many thanks.

For anyone else out there.  Googled on "opensuse install osmgpsmap" which
pointed to Gramps - User OpenSUSE and Geography, amongst others.  I added
the repository
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/k-hb/openSUSE_12.1 through
yast and then did a package search for osmgpsmap.  Rest will be familiar to
any Yast user.

Compilation was hitch free and got the widget up using both menu and short
cut.  Rendering seemed seriously fast. Not timed and I'm usually looking at
a larger view of the World when using the Marble/C++ stuff, but the general
impression I have is that this really is MUCH quicker.  And I wasn't upset
with speed previously.  Nice....
