If I bring my laptop to a 2 week liveboard, this feature would be 
awesome.  I like to tinker with my divelog, and on a liveboard I would 
have plenty of time for it.

The Android app could just save the file to /sdcard/, which is available 
by connecting an USB cable.  Or I could just send it via bluetooth with 
the standard Android sharing mechanism.

This would just be an alternative to the net upload, of course.  
Creating a simple XML exporter is easy peasy, and Subsurface is already 
good at merging dive data from different sources.  Also, with this we 
don't *have* to rely on a webservice, which might or might not be 
offline at the moment.
