Debian is a bit broken, again...

There is a package for v1.2 in wheezy, but no movement in a long time. I have considered building a .deb, but as it would be my first attempt at packaging, it won't be ready quickly! It probably needs ldc packaging as well.
As to ensuring it runs on wheezy, I know that it worked up until my last git update (about 2 weeks ago).
