just sent a patch for the about dialog. seems better on ubuntu and i
found a setting where i can test this...
with increased fonts, for me the preferences dialog has one minor
issue where the text under the icons (left-hand side) for 'Default' is
cut, but i can't make it to expand.

Tomaz, setting the QListWidget horizontal policy to 'Expanding' does
not work. do you have any idea how to make it expand-to-fit based on
the icon text size inside?
