[PATCH 0/3] Table print: Some small improvements and bug fixes

here are three tiny patches for the table print.

these could be in one patch, but this is the order of me debugging and fixing them, pretty much; and i'm not exactly sure about 2/3.

if you want this rebased/improved, please let me know.
