Libdivecomputer's dc_version() function includes the git SHA1 in the 
version string by default (except for official releases). If subsurface 
would output this information somewhere (e.g. a logfile, a version 
commandline option, or whatever), that would make it easy to identify 
the exact libdivecomputer version at runtime. That's likely valuable 
info for bug reports too.
