Formatting problem with dive list following delete dive from grouped table

I delete a file from a AUTOGROUPED dive list. See:

Upon deletion, the dive list becomes damaged. This is the result:

After some experimenting with this table and expanding some of the
columns, here is the result:

Notice the second column containing the numbers of dives is organised
totally differently. The colums that were not initially present in the
group headings now apply also to the group headings. In general the
table is a bit screwed.
Would this be something easy to fix?
