actually i'm now temporarily using qmake since the old Makefile
suddenly stopped working again for me with a:
make: *** No rule to make target `divelistview.h', needed by
`qt-ui/mainwindow.o'.  Stop.

i'd suggest that thiago's build system changes go into master.
