last time i checked it does not work with:

gcc version 4.7.2 (Built by MinGW-builds project)
which i think comes from Qt 5.0

but works with another one that i have:
gcc version 4.8.0 20120610 (experimental) (GCC)

and with gcc version 4.4.0 (GCC) - the suggested one for Qt 4.8

i have 10 toolschains or so, so haven't tested it with everything..
