ok, so for Dirk's reference all except 5/5 are good to go in at this stage?
do i need to change/reword something?

ATM i can do a:
qmake "PKGCONFIG += libmarble libiconv"
(where libmarble is a custom .pc and where libxml was build with
libiconv for unknown reasons)

and other issues aside, the output looks correct.
