Hi,
since the result of yesterday's discussion was that hardly any of our users have a working TeX system installed on their machines, this is unlikely to ever get into master.
But I would like to keep it for personal use as the printout of my dive log is my primary dive log since that can have really signatures of buddies and can be carried around irregarding any technology. Thus I want to have high quality printout possibilities.
If you want to use it as well feel free to clone the TeXexport branch of
https://github.com/atdotde/subsurface.git
with the latest addition to show the TeX export option only if there is a pdftex binary in the PATH so it does not get in the way of people who cannot use it.
Best
Robert
