Yes, I can now edit the values.

Or rather, I could if I could see them, because I still get the "both
text edit _and_ selection entry" on top of each other, which makes it
very hard to see what I'm editing. But the thing works when you're
careful.

I wonder why it doesn't show for you. This is a very bog-standard F19
install, and installing oxygen-gtk* doesn't change anything.
