But a lot of pain in the neck like me  :)

Jokes apart, I cited that MS guidelines not because we must follow
them "a priori" or because they are better than other (probably OS X
UI guidelines are even more stringent) but just because I'm a Windows
user and I found some UI aspects of Subsurface could be improved. I'm
just an IT professional who uses a lot of applications but I'm not a
UI expert or a designer. Of course I realize that it's a more
difficult task respect other Windows centric applications where you
are concentrated only on one OS.
I believe that my suggestions about column headings are really general
usability improvements that are true even for a simple slideshow not
even a app UI.
