more attempts to break things

This time I tried to break the saving of preferences and the overall
handling of fonts and font sizes.

This needs some serious testing - it starts to do what we used to do in
the past: only save options that are DIFFERENT from the default.
And it tries to recognize a few ill chosen defaults from the past (Calibri
font, column width) and get rid of those as well.

I am certain that I broke things.

Now it's your turn to find and fix them :-)
