I think what would help us the most right now is to understand the
answer to the following question:

What changes would make Subsurface more useful for you.

Ideally in a somewhat prioritized list, so first the things that are
missing and without which Subsurface really doesn't make much sense...
and then at the end the "in a dream world..." kinda stuff.
