True. Changes on the profile and changes in the Notes / Equipment are
treated differently in a way...

Careful. There are two levels of "Save changes" involved.
When you modify a dive it asks you whether you want to accept or reject
those changes. But they are NOT written to disk until you manually save or
quit Subsurface.

I agree, we could be smarter and more consistent about when we show the
Save/Cancel buttons.

I don't think we'll do that for 4.2, but we should look into this
afterwards.
