I still remember the time they dropped xv from Debian. At first I tried
to replace xv with EoG, then with GQView, after some years with geeqie
and finally with imagemagick's display. Nothing I've come across really
compares with xv, especially with my use-cases and the way I like to use
it with keyboard only. I'm sure xv is obsolete by today's standards and
lacks support for gazillion things, though.
