The most likely reason is that the older dives are no longer available 
for downloading. Especially because you appear to be using a very short 
sample rate of only 2 seconds. For a longer explanation, see the

This might be a minor bug in the libdivecomputer parser. To investigate, 
I need a memory dump from your dive computer. Subsurface provides an 
option in the download dialog to generate this memory dump. Don't forget 
to also enable the logfile, because I need both!

Seriously? If you are worried about this kind of stuff, then you 
shouldn't be using libdivecomputer or subsurface! Remember that 
libdivecomputer is largely based on reverse engineering, and that there 
is absolutely no guarantee that it will produce correct results.

You should read this small excerpt from the LGPL license:

"This library is distributed in the hope that it will be useful,
but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of

Lesser General Public License for more details."
