Sorry to resurrect, but that last statement is patently wrong. It would be 1.02 bar, which is pretty close to an atmosphere (1.01325 bar) but still not 1-to-1. 

This stuff would be so much easier if everyone used the same (correct) units for this stuff. Where’s my dive computer that has a display in kPa or bar? Then I could dive in custard and everything would still work, well… except the regulators.
