Definitely an improvement. But let's think about this some more.
Which of the columns in the table layouts for the gases make sense (and
are supported) for the the OSTC3? Can we remove the ones that don't?

I took the patch but would encourage you to continue to improve things
further (and work on the missing settings we discussed earlier).
