Obviously I have zero knowledge of xslt and what can be done and what is hard and what is easy. But hardcoding this to 10 sounds a bit dangerous to me. Can’t you replace this ten by a variable that you obtain by computing the nearest integer to dive time / total number of depth samples? Even with the occasional sample in-between I would think that this gives 10 for our example dive but might be a bit more flexible for the future.
