how odd,

my "clear" script seems to have missed a qt-mobile folder, clearing
that as well (and staring with a new build folder again) brings back
the old error:
desktop-widgets\updatemanager.cpp:53:49: error:
'subsurface_canonical_version' was not declared in this scope
  QString version = subsurface_canonical_version();

(i.e. updatemanager.cpp not incluing subsurface-core/version.h.)
