It would be great if the translations (especially Spanish and Russian -
the French translation is far from complete, anyway) could be updated to
this version with the the updated pictures.

As I mentioned I'm planning to do a 4.4.1 release - at this point mainly
in order to update the manual, so it would be excellent to have them in
sync.

If people want to expand / complete the French translation or add another
user manual translation (that's a LOT of work, btw), then please let me
know so I adjust my expectation and make sure I wait for your patches.

In general, as I am preparing for releases, it would be wonderful if the
translators could give me more updates... are you planning to send me more
patches? Are you almost done, are you suddenly taking longer, any
estimates when I should get patches?

Right now I do releases when I feel we are ready and in part based on my
schedule. I woke up way early on Wednesday and thought to myself "heck,
why not get up and just do the release". Yes, not a very scientific and
predictable process... but if I had known that both Salvador and Sergey
were hours from sending me updates, I would of course have waited.

And in Sergey's defense, he did kinda tell me that he was working on this,
but I interpreted his words to mean that he was going to be done earlier
and figured he just got distracted.

Either way - I cannot thank the team working on the manual enough. That's
a HUGE deal. Very few open source programs have good manuals, let alone
translated manuals. I'm extremely proud of what you guys are doing.

/D
