I knew it had to be something silly. Would you mind setting a type for
your tanks? That first tank with no name, type, size, anything...
containing air? It confuses our algorithm. Don't get me started on why...
I need to make sure that we ALWAYS set a name (I actually thought we did -
it should be called "unknown").

Once you set a type things will work as expected.
