How do I get data out of an Aeris XR1 NX and into Subsurface

So we get the information on which dive computer we support in large parts
from libdivecomputer. Libdivecomputer claims to support this dive
computer, and that's where all this started. Now interestingly when I do
some searching online, it seems the XR1 doesn't support a download cable
:-/

Jef, can you shed some light on this?
