of course I will look at this later tonight. After spending an evening and a lunch break on this (as I just complained on IRC), I think it cannot be that easy (but yes, in my attempts, I also got rid of the postponement): If there is a gas change without a stop, say, we askend to 9m, change to EAN80 and then continue further to 6m, the change should be displayed at 9m rather than at 6: so there, the condition is that there is a change of gases _after_ the segment (and not before as for stops). That is the problem.
