I did not really suggest either. I just propose to use it if it happens to be there.

Problem is that decent print backends are not abundant, in particular if you want them to be open source. I did some searching and there was no obvious tool.

Sure, we can render some html tables and print those. But in the rest of subsurface our standards are much higher.
