You want to figure out the place in the code where the trash bin is drawn. Apparently, it appears in the table of dive planner points which is served by a model. The trash bin is not drawn when there is only a single line. The bug report wants it to be drawn but grayed out. You may find code that handles the graying out together with the star widget.
