the nature of the 5m stop is different form the other ones: That one would be a “safety stop” rather than and “decompression stop” with the difference that its duration is always 3min and not computed from the tissue saturation. In particular, in the trail ascent to determine if the other stops need further waiting time, the algorithm should not check the ascent to 5m but to the next stop depth (3m or 0m) but include the 3min at 5m stop.
Furthermore, to close the ticket in the bug tracker, if you send a patch that is supposed to solve a ticket, include a line
Fixed #xyz
in the commit message (and of course replace xyz with the number).
