It's somewhat working in the latest builds, but not anywhere near what we
envision.

As both Tomaz and I have said repeatedly - real life comes first and for
various reasons we have been extremely busy in the last few months which
has caused Subsurface UI development to slow down dramatically. That's the
sad reality in volunteer projects.

We have tried really hard but we have not managed to get a second main UI
developer. And with Tomaz doing all the hard work and me doing most of the
hacks that break his hard work when the two of us are busy with other
things... oh well.

I keep trying to find new developers and we certainly have active
developers handling other parts of the software. Miika handles all our
importing needs. Robert handles the planner and deco stuff. Anton does
great work on random odds and ends. Lubomir has been extremely good at
tackling the Windows challenges and been the main author behind all the
print support (prior to this GSoC). Gehad does the HTML export.
Etc, etc, etc

But by and large the UI has been done by Tomaz.

Please by all means, provide more mockups. They have been extremely
helpful. The filter wouldn't look the way it does today if it wasn't for
you. I know that Tomaz wants to implement the statistics stuff that you
envisioned - there just hasn't been time, yet.
