Please, do not top-post emails. :)
most of the guys here doesn`t use a visual e-mail client, and MUTT is a
PITA to read emails if top-posted.
If it helps you, I can create and hoock up the visual part, then you could
search for TODO on the planner widget
and hoock your stuff there.
