how often will this really be used? I would say O(1) times by users that transition from the old Smartrak software to subsurface.

Why don’t we offer this as a web service (if you want I could run this on my server) where you upload a .sgl file and get a .ssrf file back. In this case, we don’t have to provide ten thousands different builds, just one that runs on the server.

What do you think?
