[PATCH] simple spelling changes

I should forward this to the maintainer of the TRIVIAL branch.
Oh wait, that's me, too :-)

I don't think there are a lot of native English (or Americanish) speakers
among the key developers... actually, looking at the stats the only one
suspect of being a native speaker in the top ten contributors since 4.0
was released is Willem, and he's in charge of our documentation, not
writing a lot of code :-)
