No experience with context menus. Re deleting images: Hover the mouse over the thumbnail in the profile. Then the image pops up and in the corner is a trash can. Click on that also deletes the image.

And yes, we should make image handling much more user friendly. After 4.5 is out. I have already the drag and drop of images ready. We also need to be able to move images. And do multi select and such things. And, currently, images are slow. Opening  dive with a number of images virtually takes forever. At least on my computer. If it really takes so long, the image loading should be moved to a background thread. Etc etc.
