Subsurface is too tall for my display

I knew git was powerful, but having so many commands makes it appear
daunting and complicated at first.  Now I keep being impressed by how
simply it can achieve things.

I tried reducing the font to 6pt (from 9pt).  It achieved little except for
threatening me with a headache.
