I get nothing at all. When I first tried to get cloud access, I had a black pop up occasionally but no spinner.

If I start up subsurface, it opens to an empty logbook and after a short while connects to the git repository and opens my log. 

I'll setup the beta on an old windows 7 installation I have to see what that does.
