I really like this. But it will need to be added to the manual and tested.
And I just worry about all the other crap that's going on right now... so
I'm torn.

Given that drag and drop in the past has been rather fragile (given all
the different OSs and DEs that we support) I'd prefer to have this wait
until after 4.5, please.
